We are starting the process of hiring a young person under 30 years old to carry out planning and execution tasks for the environmental education and outreach axis.
Alive Fundació has received a grant for the realization of a training contract to obtain professional practice (SOC-JOVES EN PRACTICES).
Thus, we open a call for a job offer to incorporate a young person (< 29 years old), who is unemployed , for a 12-month full-time employment in a training contract to obtain professional practice.
Requirements to opt for recruitment:
– Be under 30 years old
– Be registered in the File of the National Youth Guarantee System as a beneficiary.
– Be registered with the corresponding Labor Office of the Public Employment Service of Catalonia as unemployed jobseekers (DONO) and with the capacity to formalize a formative work contract to obtain professional practice in the moment of its signature.
– Be in possession of a university degree or higher in the field of science (geology, biology or environmental sciences) or in the field of education (pedagogy).
All requirements and conditions must be proven on the business day immediately preceding the start of the contract (mid-January 2025).
All those people who do not meet these requirements will not be able to choose to be candidates for this recruitment.
Announcement of the job offer
The offer for recruitment will be published in the office of the SOC of Figueres. All candidates must be SOC validated.
Workplace
The workplace will be in the L’Escala office (L’Escala Nàutic Club area – Port de la Clota street). With the option of teleworking some day (to be agreed upon).
37.5 hours a week with flexible hours (intensive or part time to be agreed)
The contract will be for one year, from January 2025 to January 2026 , under a leisure education agreement. With possibilities of continuity.

The hired person will have to join the team to carry out planning and execution tasks for the environmental education and outreach axis .
- Plan service-learning projects and activities in the field of environmental conservation, learning camps, work camps and other educational offers for the foundation’s new area of work on land stewardship.
- Create a training offer letter for companies (environmental teambuilding activities).
- Coordinate environmental education activities and help promote existing pedagogical resources.
Profile
We are looking for a person under 30 years old, who meets the requirements of the call and who has:
- Training in the field of experimental sciences and/or pedagogy
- Experience in environmental education and/or experience in coordinating activities and teams
- With initiative
- With the ability to work independently.
- Management and administration skills of entities will be valued (search for grants, administrative procedures,…)
*Within the framework of the Youth Guarantee in Catalonia , the SOC encourages the hiring of trained young people in internships in order to improve their employability by acquiring the skills and competencies derived from work practice and favoring this way, their incorporation into the labor market in a stable and lasting way over time.
* This program offers to subsidize training contracts to obtain professional practice for unemployed young people under the age of 30 for a period of twelve months on a full-time basis , to Catalan town councils, Catalan regional councils and non-profit organizations , as well as associations and foundations.
* The SOC has been carrying out this initiative since 2016 through the calls for “Recruitment of young people benefiting from the Youth Guarantee in Catalonia (SOC – JENP) in internships”.
