This year, thanks to the new signature by both entities, MedFoto reaches its fifth edition full of new features. The 2025 contest will begin on March 1st with the publication of the rules, and the jury that will be part of it will be announced.
The MedFoto contest
The contest aims to highlight the relationship between the sea and people, raise awareness of the natural values of the marine environment and promote a responsible attitude towards the sea. Through photography, it aims to disseminate and contribute to the knowledge and preservation of the marine environment.
MedFoto is also an open competition. It is aimed at both amateur and professional photographers and accepts images taken both above and below the surface of the sea, dedicated to all aspects of the sea, from landscape to marine life, and from professional and sporting activities to leisure activities.
The new agreement reinforces the commitment of both entities to the promotion and preservation of the marine environment, as well as to the dissemination of the natural values of the Mediterranean through photography.
