We are studying the octopus population in the Cymodocea nodosa meadows in the Gulf of Roses and in the Gulf of Pals in order to find out what the situation of this cephalopod is.
The Gram (or Cymodocea nodosa ) is a marine plant, much less known than the Posidonia but equally of great ecological importance. In the Bay of Roses there is one of the largest mapped Gram meadows in the world.
Periodically, research grants are published with the aim of assessing the Gram meadow of the Empordà or studying in detail one of its elements.
